I'm so excited to share some amazing guest posts from other bloggers living life on a mission with you all while I'm out of town so much this month!  Be sure to check out their blogs and leave them some love!

I'm so excited for y'all to meet Tiffany!  She loves Mexico too, which makes us instant friends!  I'm slightly jealous that she is there full time, and I only get to go 5 times a year (which is still alot, I know.) and I'm just so happy that there are women out there willing to Go when God tells them to!  Read and enjoy!

Hola mis amigas hermosas.
My name is Tiffany Joy, skipping over from {south of the border},
to this sunny corner of the web, and I love Jesus.

Doesn't Kerrie just have the bubbly-est, fun-loving personality eeever?!?!
yaaa...  i think so too!!!
I fell in love with Kerrie,
when i first read her passion for the same country i am so passionate about...
...Mexico.

she has asked me to share a little bit about what in the world I'm doing so...
listos?
Vamonos!

I heard once a saying, goes like this...  {when you go to another country with a hard heart, you will come back with a soft heart.  The second time, you'll go back with a broken heart.  And if you return for a third time, you'll never come back.}  Well...  i am on my third time back to Ensenada, Mexico, and... I like to call it {my home}.

I work with a ministry called Genesis Diez, were we specialize in relationships.  The two groups of people i work closely with are community families and the orphans.

Community Families:

{Durango} is a small community that mostly consists of families who have come from the south, looking for work and better opportunities.  The houses vary from small ministry homes, that other teams have built, to garage door homes with tarped roofs.  It is full of many people who are just like all the rest of us, broken and in need of relationships.  Our hearts here at Genesis, is to form those relationships, and share the love of Jesus with these beautiful people.

Whether that means going to school plays...

hanging out and playing with blocks...

helping kids get birth certificates, so they can attend school...

visiting a single mom with cancer, and loving on her niños...

running after school programs, to help the niños with their homework...

or just simply giving suffocating-ly good hugs...
our goal is to cultivate close relationships with these families.

Orphans:

If you drive down a little dirt road, rutted with pot holes you may come across a beautiful ranch called {Rancho Genesis}.  During the spring and summer months, we run one week camps for different orphanages.  We pare up an orphanage with a church group from the States or Canada and for one week.  It's like love on steroids folks.

In the Spring of 2010, I was apart of one of these camps.  I came with my sister for a week, but really had NO idea where I was going, what I would be doing, or why, all I knew is I wanted to experience something outside of me.  That is what I got, and so much more.  It was one week of sleeping in tents, no warm or running water, playing hard, getting dirty, lots of hugs and lovin', campfires, but most importantly, where God used one little orphan, by the name of Luis, to show me how much worth I have, because of how much He loves me.  Let's just say from then on...  I was smitten with this place.

Luis and I, spring of 2010

Our hearts for the orphan camps, is that each child would see that they have worth because of Jesus.

We do this by lots of kisses...

bible stories...

creating safe environments...

 a place where everyone's a winner...

and hugs are free...

...and this is only the beginning.
Come visit me over {here} to keep up on the adventures.
thanks for reading.
