I just so happen to be in my favorite place in the whole world! Mexico!!  You may know that already, but the excitement never stops. (for me anyway!)

I am literally on the mission field as you read this, so my "Life on a Mission post" is currently in the action stage.

Mexico is so special to me.  It is where I met my husband and also where God showed me a huge HUGE ministry that I truly believe I will be involved in for the rest of my life.  It grows every year, and this trip is my first of five for 2012.  In fact, in less than one month, I'll be bringing a medical team down for a free clinic.

Life. I love it!

Last week's challenge was to write Scripture and an encouraging word for a stranger. There are so many ways to do this and I cannot WAIT to hear your story!  I left for Mexico on Friday and am writing this post ahead of time since I'm leaving the old lappytop behind.  I will only have internet through my phone. So, to plan ahead, I wrote out this verse and these words of encouragement and plan to leave it for a stranger as I travel to the foreign mission field.

(Follow me on twitter and I will post a photo/short story for last weeks challenge today!)

And remember, God's Word is never void.  It is powerful and can and will be used by Him.

Now, onto this week's challenge!
Pray with someone.
This takes a little more effort than the previous weeks, and that's intentional.
As we grow in our relationships with God, we grow from babes to mature children of God.

How many times have you told someone, "I'll pray for you" but forget to actually do it?  I'm guilty.  It is my intention with this week's challenge to get us to put action behind our words.

Start by praying for God to reveal someone to you who needs prayer. Be aware of conversations and what the people around you are saying.  And, when that someone is made obvious to you, ask them if you can pray for them.  And do it.
Right then, right there, out loud.

It's going to feel awkward.  But only for a second.
Prayer is so powerful and God honors it.  The connection two people can gain through prayer together is unlike any other.

Pray with your husband, your best friend, your sibling, someone you've just met.
I feel confident that God will show you who.
You just have to be obedient when He nudges.

"Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results." - James 5:16-17
