There are some new faces around here.
Some of you have introduced yourselves, and some of you haven't.
That's ok. I'm a silent reader sometimes too.

But, I thought I'd introduce myself to YOU!

And I'm going to do so by joining up with a wholebuncha ladies hosting this Me, Myself, and I linkup!

This is me.

Duh.
Unless you're new here.
Then, not duh.
Welcome!

So, lemme see here... I'm s'posed to answer some questions fer ya.

1. What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?
This is gonna sounds silly... but if I KNEW I could not fail, I would maybe audition for American Idol with hopes of getting myself out there and becoming the next Kari Jobe (She's a Christian recording artist/worship leader). HAH. So funny. I actually do love love love singing -- worshipping God in song is one of my favorite things in the world to do -- but I'm not technically trained.  Ergo -- I would fail.  Ergo again -- I'll never ever ever do it.
Just having someone to write songs specifically for my vocal range would be amazing.
But, most things I want to try or do or feel God telling me to do, I do it.  I'm not usually worried about failing. I used to be, but I've come to realize (and am still learning) that it's ok to "fail" sometimes.  Everything ends up being alright in the end... so is it really even a failure?  I dunno.

Any who, if ya wanna hear me sing (and not criticize because I just can't take it), start this video at minute 10:40.

2. If you had only six months left to live, what would you do with the time?
I think I would do a lot of traveling.  I'd obviously want to spend EVERY SECOND of it with my amazing husband. He's smokin'

I'd want to spend some time touring the world -- Italy, Spain, Greece -- those kind of places, just to vacation, eat, and sleep in amazing hotels.  Then I would want time with my family, reliving the memories together.  Last, I would want to end my time in Mexico. My favorite place in the world.  Doing ministry. Non-stop ministry. Yep. Sounds like a nice 6 months.

3. If a front page news article was written on you, what would the headline be?
ooh this is a tough one. It required imagination, and I'm slightly distracted by the tv right now.  Hmm.... I would hope it would be something inspiring, about missions, Mexico, or marriage -- three things I really care about.  I'm so not clever enough for this question.

4. What is your biggest pet peeve?
In a recent vlog, I said it was my memory (which seriously does drive me crazy!!) but I think this question means about other people?  I mean, don't get me wrong. People bug me. A lot of the time. But not for anything "pet peevish".  haha Peevish. I like it.  At least I didn't think so, until my husband pointed one out to me the other day: apparently, I don't like people to make repetitive noises, like tapping I guess?  I never noticed until he pointed it out.  Now I realize that I tell people to STOP IT or give them that wide eyed look (you know the one)... the "if you don't stop I'm gonna come over there and make you" look.  Which is so ironic because I have this horrible habit of clearing my throat an sighing out loud all the time without realizing it.

5. What is your favorite chick flick movie?
Man I am bad at these questions.  I have no idea. I'm more of a tv person.  My favorite movies are Steel Magnolias, The Sound of Music, Moulin Rouge... none of which are chick-flicks... are they? I mean, maaaybe they are, but not in the traditional sense.  I did finally watch Tangled this weekend and I loved it! It's a lovey dovey movie so it totally counts.

Feel like you know me better?
If you're new and want to know what to expect around here, check this out.
And leave me a comment! Otherwise, I'll never know you were here.
Unless that's what you want.
And that's ok too :)
