We're back again from our future home -- Reynosa, Mexico!
This was my first trip where I wasn't the leader. I always thought that giving it up would be hard, but it turns out, it was refreshing. I'm so thankful that God has sent the right people to continue this ministry as we prepare to move. For the first time in years I was able to experience it as I did the first few times again.
I don't know if it was just me, but this trip was particularly heart-warming. Everywhere I looked, children were being loved on and friendships were being formed. I met one woman in particular at the Quinceñeara a few weeks back. Her name is Valori and we're both 29. And even though we are in two totally different life-places, I feel a connection to her. I'm so excited that God is introducing me to more and more women my age down there who I hope to be accountable to and grow friendships with.
Seven months is all that's left until we're living there full time.
Sometimes, it's still hard to believe! I can't wait :)
