The new year is always a great time to set new goals.
Many people set resolutions, but that's not really my thing.
(probably because I'm so horribly unsuccessful in them!)

I'm not one to decide to do something for a whole year or forever or what-not,
but I do love to sit down and set some reachable goals, even if they are just small ones.

Some of these are tiny, and some are huge (Hello #5!) but they are all things I want to do this year to prepare ourselves for what God has planned. (ie. simplify simplify simplify!)

I could set more, that's for sure. But for me, part of the fun in life is letting God take you where ever He wants to.  So, with that in mind, I'm going to try and set the rest of my goals moment by moment.

{I've always loved this quote from One Night with the King:}

Hagai: "Where are you from?"
Esther: "I am of the wind. Whose sound is yet heard yet none
 can tell from whence it comes or where it goes."
Hagai: "Well, we gather in an hour. Try not to blow away before then."

And while it may be silly, I love the idea behind it. I want to be free to be carried by Christ where He sees fit.
I guess you could call it a goal ;)

What are your goals this year?
