One of the coolest things I got to do in India (outside of telling tons of people about Jesus -- that was by far the coolest) was when we spent the morning cleaning teeth at the orphanage. Kasey and I were deemed the dentists of the day because we were the girls and our hands were small enough to fit inside these tiny little mouths!

Let's be honest: These kids were totally freaked out. And rightly so. I'd never done anyone's teeth but my own! But it was really such a great experience. Basically, we gave them a good cleaning, i.e. brush, floss, rinse, and then we used some individual fluoride packets that were donated to paint on their teeth. It tasted horrible and they had to keep it on for a whole hour. Poor kids ;)

When it was all said and done, they were so proud of their clean little teeth. They ran up to us all day long, giving us their best smiles so we could see how clean they still were. It warmed my heart in a big way.

It's so amazing how quickly love can grow. I love these kids. Seriously love them. I think about them and pray for them and feel 100% confident that I'll be seeing them again in the not-too-distant future. Wade and I are so blessed. God is growing our family all around this Earth. I'm so thankful to Him for adding these into the fold of my heart forever :)
