Hello there.
Today I'm linking up with my fellow Hope Spoken attendees for a little "meet & greet."  If you're here from the linkup, I really look forward to meeting you at the conference! If you already know me, well, this will probably be pretty redundant. I'm an open book, which leaves little new information to be had.

The first thing you should know is that my hair is actually about half the length as it is in this photo right now, but by March it will probably be long again.

Actually, that's probably the second thing you should know. The first thing you should know is my name. It's Kerrie.

Or Karina.
Or Kerlly.

I live in Mexico (another thing you should probably know) and the kids have a heck of a time with my name so I pretty much answer to anything that sounds remotely close to my name.

My husband and I moved to the Mexico/South Texas border in September to serve as full time neighbors, I mean missionaries where we spend our days playing with the local kids, enjoying meals with our neighbors, giving rides, making photocopies for school, dispensing medicine and beans and rice, and hosting teams who come in and build homes or run free medical clinics.

We also live part time in Texas, where my husband works as a pharmacist.

I'm not really sure what spurred me to attend Hope Spoken.  I saw a tweet where someone was selling their ticket and I just leapt. I don't feel nervous about anything right now, since I have been to the Influence Conference twice now and know how amazing it is to be with fellow bloggers who love Jesus! But I'm sure the nerves will hit about an hour before arrival. Thankfully I've got a core group of friends who are also attending. That helps ease the nerves a bit.

With Hope Spoken, I'm hoping to be recharged.  Living in Mexico is so much fun, but it is also very exhausting.  I am looking forward to the rejuvenation that comes with setting aside a weekend to hear from the Lord and focus solely on Him.

Let me know you stopped by! I won't have internet again until Sunday, so I'll be visiting around to see you all this weekend. But I will do my best to reply to any comments via email to my phone! To follow along with our lives in Mexico, you can visit my twitter or instagram.
