If you follow me on instagram, twitter or if we're friends on Facebook, you might have seen me post this cryptic photo. I didn't necessarily mean to be so secretive. It was more that I had just experienced one of those "don't even think about putting it on your bucket list because, lets be real, it aint gonna happen" kind of things and couldn't wait to share.

I'm sure I made it out to be a bigger deal than it was.

You see, about a week and a half ago, I got a message from a friend asking if I would help record a song for a wedding. I was all, sure. No problem. I learned the song (mostly... I still had to read the lyrics from my phone as I was recording) and showed up a few days later to do it. When another friend walked in with headphones and equipment and one of those legit looking microphones, I about had a panic attack. This was for real. I just didn't expect it to be so professional.  And boy was I nervous!  Yes, it was only for a wedding (it was a surprise, hence the aloofness in my posting!) but recording "studio style" is something I've always dreamt of doing.  The whole experience was so fun.

Even though I could sit here and critic myself all day, wish I had been a bit more comfortable with the song, had sounded a little stronger here or there, this was too cool of an opportunity not to share. So, without further ado, my debut EP (hah! totally kidding).

Better Man (Woman) by James Moreson
